Today Canonical has announced the release of Ubuntu 23.04, codenamed “Lunar Lobster”. This short-term release of Ubuntu Desktop offers nine months of support, including bug fixes and critical app updates.

Ubuntu 23.04 presents some enhancements such as a new installer that scales up desktop deployments, expanded login management with Azure Active Directory, improved workflows for cross-platform development, more controls for apps and snaps, and a leveling up of the Ubuntu gaming experience.
